Web page design/ IT question.

If I am wanting to grab a picture from a page that doesn't allow "Copy Image" or "Copy Image Location" I know of 2 ways to go about this. I am using Firefox: Tools>Page Info>Media then go through all of the addresses until I find the pic or Right Click and "Save Page As" then find the pic in the folder.

I was wanting to upload the 1st and 2nd pictures from this page to Google Images to find out where it was. Using both of the above methods doesn't have the background images listed as a picture file. Could some one please tell me where the images are?

Ta.

P.S. If I grab a pic from a page that doesn't allow copying I never re-post it.

So I can screenshot it with my phone... but if you are on a PC open up firefox or whatever browser and hit dev options. You can probably hunt down actual links from in there. (Or just hit view source to see the code as well)

I was going to suggest this, or ALT+Prtscn that captures the current active application window.

Gonna go out on a limb and say someone who couldn't figure this out to the point they came to a car forum to ask, would also have no idea how to find out what the snipping tool is.

Not to mention keyboard shortcut>going through menus.

The Opera browser has a build in snipping feature, that's even faster.
Press the camerabutton next to the addressbar, select and save.

Try this:
- open the dev tools with F12
- make sure the inspector tab is selected
- click on the icon all the way to the top left next to the inspector tab (the tooltip says "Pick an element from the page"
- click on the picture you want to copy
- look around at the highlighted section of html
- somewhere in there you should find "something.com/xyz.jpg"
- the "something.com/xyz.jpg" should be the address of the image
- put this in the address bar

I got these 2 address:

https://www.abc.net.au/news/image/12...-2150x1210.jpg

https://www.abc.net.au/news/image/12...-2150x1210.jpg

These are all good solutions. If you want to try something that offers much more capability than what Windows offers, check out Greenshot
I frequently use "Capture region" and then send it to the built-in Image Editor for annotation and further editing as needed. It also allows you to save the captured image in a variety of formats (jpg, png, bmp, tiff, gif, ico, etc.). If the PC can display it, Greenshot can capture, save, or print it.

You can use the snipping tool and save it as a jpg or any other image file. You don't have to capture the whole page. I do it all the time when I need to make a quick "how to" for a customer.
