Just FYI, on Pro Kit springs drop, here are my camber #s for the rear currently (no adjustment):

L: -1.6* R: -2.2*

Fronts using the OEM crash bolts are
L: -1.1* R: -1.5*

As you can see there is some variance from L to R but this is seen even on the factory alignment. If you have crash bolts or camber bolts for the front you can have things adjusted if you prefer to even them out a bit, but since I don't have LCAs and have no ability to adjust on the rear, I felt it was better to leave the variance in place.

I'm split between these and the hotchkis or Tanabe springs. I want the mildest drop possible due to speed bumps at work...any thoughts?

Bump

The BRZ and the FRS have different suspension. Not to mention the 2015 model upgrades. So I'm wondering how this kit manages to ride with BRZ shocks vs. FRS shocks. I do believe they are valved differently.

Pre-2105 BRZ and FRS use the same dampers, but different spring rates. So they'll ride identically with a spring swap.

I have no idea on the 2015 models - The suspension dampers are new part numbers, but there's a lot of misinformation around on what's what, and I haven't bothered to sift through it.

so if i swap my 2013 BRZ OEM springs to prokits, it will handle more like the FR-S with more oversteer?

just made this swap as the very first (and possibly last) mod to my brz. i had prokits installed in my 95 mustang back in the day and liked the ride and the height adjustment so i went with the same to the brz. its actually a perfect drop, not terribly low but noticeably not quite stock rally height.

i have two sets of speed bumps in my apartment complex that i could take at about 5 mph stock and now i try to roll over them as slow as possible - they don't feel like they compress the suspension too much when theyre taken that slow.

i only have about 50 miles put on them since the install but the handling still feels super tight and the ride really isn't that much rougher than stock.

the one downfall though is definitely that since the car starts with such a low center of gravity, that extra 7/8 of an inch makes it that much more challenging to get into, with these 38 year old knees. but its a price im willing to pay for being really happy with the look of the drop.

I'm new to the lowering game and was looking into these springs. Do you mind what exactly feels slightly rough? Also, will they kill the life span on my stock suspension?

when you encounter a pothole or a sizable road imperfection you feel it more than the stock suspension. small bumps/dips feel relatively the same.

i had those same springs on my mustang for 2 years without any negative consequences to stock shocks or anything. supposedly they're designed to work within the constraints of the stock suspension (pro kit not the larger drop in the sport line) but I'm sure other folks on here can weigh in more on that.

Mostly everyone I have come across over the years who have bought/used Sportline springs say they are crap-ola. I had them on my old Integra back in the day (stock struts... bad.. bad me), and they performed poorly.

Sure, they drop more the Pro springs, but poor ride quality/performance. The springs are 90+% compressed when car is parked, so the springs do very little to help aid in absorption of small/big impacts. Match them with the right strut (something high quality= Koni or Tokico adjustable) , that should help some, but it's also more money out of pocket. At this point, you'd be best suited going with a coil-over if you're wanting about a 1.5" drop, IMHO. I doubt the FRS/BRZ would be any different in their performance.

I just put my pro kit on this weekend and noticed two additional plastic bumpstops on the stock setup (this is in addition to the stock rubber one, so three pieces in total stacked). Do I toss these and only use the Eibach bumpstops by themselves? Or just replace the rubber bumpstops and leave the plastic one's there?. My FRS is a 2016.

Sorry to re-up this thread: EU P/N is different, E10-82-043-01-22. Are the springs different?
