I joined the The Shop automotive club in Seattle. Its a sweet club which you can meet other car enthusiast. They also have lifts, tools, wash bays, and tire mounting equipment for members. For additional fee you can store your car in their warehouse. I got to check out all the cool cars stored there. Lots of high dollar stuff. Ill take some pictures next time I'm there.

I used the wash bay after joining. it's really nice.

I went out drifting again. Was a really busy day at Spirit Peaks raceway. I was feeling nervous again. But I pushed my nervousness and set out on the track. I finally feel I've crossed over the hump. I was able to do two laps of drifting the full course every turn. It felt great. The seat time is really helping. Excited to continue my progression at the cost of many tires

drift missile breakdown:

Car crossed 6600 miles. Excited to do some track driving this summer. Ive also decided I am going to start doing autocross as well. Just maximum seat time is my goal.
How's your JR dual radiator/ oil cooler holding up? Any issues or kinking in the lines?

no problems at all. It's doing a great job of keeping things cool. I am maxing out at ~230F oil temp.

More photos from Spirit peaks raceway. Great track for drifting. I also realized the winter is a great time to do drifting. Not a lot of other track driving available here in the NW.

Snow day in Seattle!
I attempted to venture out today and find some empty parking lots for some fun. But the Supersports were really struggling in the snow. So I decided to head back home. Not without some photos though.

Continue to do the drifting events while I wait for spring and summer to open up more lapping events here in the PNW.

First time drifting in half wet half dry pavement. I really struggled. Kept spinning out as the grip conditions changed.

Photos:

Spin out!

Installed the JDM STI fender garnishes and Verus rear diffuser. I'm feel very close to completing my look of if Subaru made an STI version of the BRZ. Going to an auto cross this Saturday. I've done drifting and track but never any autocross. Im a bit nervous but I hope to enjoy myself About 6 events in this year so its time to change diff and tran oil. Will be doing that this Sunday. Dumping some photos.

Did an autoX at evergreen speed last weekend. Fun day. Super busy as it was first one of the season and nice weather. I was a little disappointing in how little seat time I got compared to lapping. But it's 1/4 the cost.

Update:
Since I've done more then 6 events needed to change my Transmission and diff oil. So I went and did that at the shop. Super easy with a lift took me about 1.5hr. It was my first time so I was taking my time with things. Picked up a new visor for my helmet. Blue to match my car also another drift day. Signed up for track day @ the ridge with the shop. Also excited to try out Pacific raceway with the new pavement. I also reinstalled my Verus rear diffuser. which was sitting in my garage for quite a while.

Changing oils at the shop:

Fun day at the Ridge. Car did great. I finally feel like I got a good line at the ridge. This came from some mentoring of two other BRZ driving which I was so grateful to receive. Thanks to them I cut my Personal best from a terrible 2:15 to a way less terrible 2:06
