What's the Out-the-door Price for your FR-S, BRZ
Not msrp, invoice, etc. but the actual price that shows up in your bank statements.
I'm looking to try to get one with a reasonable price tag. Or if the mark-ups are too high, i might wait til next year. |

there is no reason you should buy a FRS with a markup, you should easily be able to get the exact FRS you want within a few months with no markup. They may try to get you with a shitload of accessories though so watch out for that also. As for the overall out the door price, I am also curious because I'm still waiting on my FRS

"Out the door" price will depend on where you live with regard to sales tax. and whether you are transferring a tag or getting a new one. You can get several numbers, but they will all be meaningless to your specific location (Unless it's from the same dealer that you're buying your car from).
You can ask what the purchase price was. The purchase price includes any dealer fees, markup if you're gullable enough to pay that, and any other things before tax, tag and title.

Best bet is to google tax tag title for your area and then just do a little math and you'll get a general idea. I'm looking at about 26900 otd atm.

I was going to have to pay 31,527 for my BRZ limited (Atlanta, MSRP + 750 doc/"dealer service" fee + ttl), so instead I just dumped 5k more and got a loaded 135i. Couldn't justify paying over MSRP for a car in the first year of its production cycle when I can get a better one for >10k off its original MSRP.

Sounds about right. Leith (Raleigh, NC) gave me an estimate of 26,400~ for my order after TTT + Fees.

I bet all the people in NC are wishing they lived in SC for once. IIRC they have a max sales tax on cars of around $350.

Well that, the cheaper tax elsewhere, cheaper gas, etc... When I looked at moving to Charlotte I was going to live in "South Charlotte" instead :P

Oh and as for this thread, I paid $499 over invoice. OTD with taxes, tag, etc was ~$29,750 for a BRZ Limited.

Total OTD on BRZ Premium was $28,222.34. I also opted for extended warranty for an extra $1200 spread out over the finance period. Stupid? Maybe? But I like that the vehicle will be covered bumper to bumper for the entire period of loan repayment.
Edit: This is in San Antonio, Texas btw. |

That's pretty awesome. Still, I can't complain too much. NC is only 3% on cars. Tons better than the 6-7% I see elsewhere.

so in NC the tax on cars is only 3% even though sales tax is more?? they don't tax the amount covered by your trade in either, thats a pretty good deal! |

actually 26,400 might be a bit high for me since my trade will be at LEAST 10k and i'm anticipating paying the 25,000 msrp price.
