AST Suspension 5100 coilover review

A very basic explanation is dual digressive pistons will change the shock valving/dyno plot such that the blow off is more steep. This should translate into a shock that handles bumps better and rides more smoothly on the street. For a daily driver you are gaining comfort over bumps. AST parts are NOT cheap but if money isn't an issue, and you feel like getting the shocks set up with gucci parts, go for it.

Yes. Thank you for your reply. I am in contact with a local rebuilder Performance Shock, Inc. I emailed them regarding it too and said the same thing but the interesting part is that they mentioned that it is a good option if the car is seeing more track or if the car is dedicated track car due to cost and purpose of it. Make sense if their concern is to make the most out of it with the cost of that route. Maybe later down the road when car becomes more of a dedicated track car. Surprised too that the Max-G did not click to the target market. Do you have a review write up or video regarding these coilovers? You have PM.
