car weighs approx 2640lbs wet (car only)

pending mods: carbon trunk and hood (will paint to match silver ignition), trd short ratio gear set, trd bushings, aero, then ill weigh the car again, and it's done as a full jdm trd clone (no louvers), plus other performance goodies trd didnt offer

Do you still have the JDM TRD quad exhaust? Your setup definately sounds amazing!!

thank you I appreciate your compliment took me a while to tune the sound but i finally like the result. I have titanium setup from headers to center pipe. I kept the jdm trd quads for a moarr oem look. i have one moar change and that is JDM front lip, JDM side skirts, and going to go with a different rear bumper. I plan on keeping my current exhaust setup. after the body kit my build will be done. i just need to install ancillary parts here and there that i have ordered and recieved but no time to install yet. stuff like trd short ratio gear set, trd bushings, and i think that's the last of the OEM mods avail for the 86 i can buy other than louvers. no louvers for me but i do like them. once i have all of the above done i plan on getting another tune and dyno, and get another corner balance for final tuning of my suspension and also to get the final weight number.

I've always liked the sound of your exhaust. If I may ask, is it all custom? Or what are you running? Also with the JDM quad are you still using the oem mid pipe, or did you find/make an aftermarket one?

3 years of mixing and matching and ordering custom parts here and there is the result you see /hear along with the motor build etc. but to answer your question the only part of the exhaust system i kept sorta oem is the jdm quads. headers, overpipe, front pipe, mid pipe are all titanium. final part is JDM quads for oem look. i do have one more change to the trd quads but the sound should stay the same in theory. im thinking it might actually sound better after im done with it lol. will see. i need my new bumper first

I though you were completely against the body kit(i am as well). Or is it 14R stuff? Which i don't know if it is finally available...I desisted on trying to buy those parts, though there's always hope...

There's an authorized TRD distributor in China that sells them

I was suspecting exactly that. Can't wait to see the outcome, i wouldn't do it exactly like the 14R though.
