My FRS baseline VERSUS Visconti e85/Perrin/Injen/Motiv setup

Went out to do dyno runs. The car ran extremely consistent for the 4-5 runs- literally almost identical each time. It's a statement for both Visconti's e85 tune and the shop (Agile Performance) that ran the dyno.

Comment please!

Peak HP and TQ numbers are in the top corners of each graph.

Get some 5 gallon gas cans and fill those up too. That way you only have to drive out to refill on e85 every 2-3 tanks.

Just a couple quick questions the baseline was done with all of the modifications but on a stock tune or was it done previously before the modifications? The baseline is the stock tune and not the 93 octane Visconti tune, correct?

Baseline is BONE stock, no parts and stock tune- as if you drove it off the lot. Again, it's a comparison between a stock car versus a modded NA car.

Thanks for all the compliments! For reference, I drove 2+ tanks of e85 to ensure that I was running pure e85 (it takes a tank or 2 to run the regular octane fuel out of the car). My closest e85 station is ~45min away in Annapolis- it's worth the drive for me, and those 5 gallon jugs allow me to have a reserve if I wanted to have an e85 weekend.

For gas mileage, I've been getting around 260miles per full tank- (~22-23mpg). So there is a bit of a sacrifice in economy.

Good numbers RSPEC!! Thanks for the post.

That f*kin torque dip is killer! I don't understand what the problem is?

Is that common in Boxer motors? I know it's not the direct injection.

It looks worse than it is because of how those graphs are scaled.

Yeah, if you look at the graphs it's about 22hp between the trough and peak baseline, but 19hp when tuned.
