If you want the dual control box, I'll send you mine with the passenger servo for the cost of shipping it. it might fit in a flat rate or regional priority box...

Am I the only one still sitting here hoping that someone will say something like "It wasn't terrible, I like wiring. I would totally make a few more for some people and tell them the others parts I bought."??

I love wiring, but I did it on my Frs and it was such a pain.

I am working on it. Most everything you need to do the swap is on the first page. Just need to do some searching.

It's not easy, and finding all the parts for a good price is difficult. Some of the Pins/Wires from Toyota are $15 a piece and you need 25+. So then it comes down to trying to find a second hand supplier, and not knowing if the part is exactly right. I have Everything (or so I think) minus 1 or 2 connectors on order. I hope to complete the install next weekend.

Easiest Way would be buying the Dash Harness from an Auto Climate car and the HVAC Box. Still need to do some wiring, and find some of the plugs, but you have most of the parts.

I am currently in at about $430. That is with the part I ordered wrong. I am being very hopeful that nothing creeps up on me.

Everything is currently on it's way. Unfortunately I had a couple packages get stuck at the sorting facility a few hours away. Should have been delivered the 8th. Finally being delivered today. Got the Tracking numbers for the order from Subaru today. Looks like the HVAC case parts aren't something they stock (who would have guessed). I am guessing it will be here Wednesday. My 3 day shipping option from Japan didn't turn out very well. Still says it is in Japan, So I am not sure when that order will arrive. As Soon as everything is here, I will start putting the harness together, and document as best I can.

Well I got my Servo in from Toyota. I am Pretty sure I ordered the wrong one...
@Chaetagnath The damper control servo is the one with the metal bracket correct?

Edit: Said Screw it and ordered it from the Local Dealer. They have no idea when it will come in as there are only 3 in the country and nowhere near our location. She said possibly Friday if they can get it out ASAP. My Subaru Parts order won't be here till then so That is fine. Order from Japan just passed through customs, so I expect that here Wednesday or Thursday.

The one with the metal bracket (part number SU00302044) controls the direction of the airflow. It also requires this plastic piece, which should also come with it:

Incidentally, The inside of the plastic housing if you take it off looks like this:

As you can see, each servo moves a little door independently which mixes heat/cold air. I don't know exactly what it looks like in the manual version, but somehow those two shafts must be connected, unless it is a single piece.

They are two different pieces in the Manual. I have a feeling the one in the manual is keyed into each other to allow them to act as one piece.

My Subaru order should be here today. I am going to start working on my harness as soon as I can find my extra wiring harness I have laying around. Hoping to have the other servo in by Friday so I can get it in the car.

actually i'm pretty sure it's a single piece going the whole way. if i happen to remember to check when i get home from work then i'll post back and let you know.

when i did mine, the guy selling the harness also sold me the hvac unit. i had to swap some parts from my hvac and it was a huge pain in the ass. i still highly recommend for anyone wanting to switch to the digital controls to only do a single control instead of dual. i don't think it's worth the effort.

I don't see why there would be two pieces listed with two different part numbers for Manual Cars if it was a single piece, but who knows. I appreciate you looking at it, always great to have more info in a situation like this.

Edit: Everything, except my last servo from Toyota, is here.

Looks like the temp sensor hose comes with the connector?

Edit: Really wish I would have payed more attention. I kept on getting the 90980-10796 number mixed up with 90980-10976 and accidentally order the 976 part number. So Now I have to decide if I want to tap into the plug with some wire taps or pay out the *** to get the correct plug in next week. Or tap it for now and do the plug later as it's accessible by taking the radio out (probably what I will do)
