Needs more low
My car definitely needs more low, but i don't think I'm going to lower it. Looks a bit corny not lowered, but the ride is pretty stiff already (imo). At least i don't have to worry about scraping the bottom of my car.
First time cleaning the interior. Got my car 29 days ago. |

Nope, it doesn't need to be any lower. The suspension and ride height are just perfect for all around driving. See, I saved you some more money - humfrz |

... gotta love the RS2's subtle but stylish lip and spoiler.
Definitely don't lower if you daily and winter it, keeps the car functional hehe. Put MP4S's when your tires wear out and (imo) it looks pretty sick at stock height. |

I actually felt the TRD springs improved the ride quality. Also, haven't had any clearance issues, but I do live in Los Angeles not Canada. Give it a try, pretty easy to swap back if it doesn't work out for you.

If you can snag a set of 17+ OEM shocks and combine that with TRD springs. They're about the perfect drop(0.75-1")

Congrats on the RS-2! I'm jealous!
"My car definitely needs more low" If you decide to lower it, I would recommend TEIN Flex Z coilovers. One benefit is that they can be set to ride more comfortable than stock. You can also raise them all the way to the stock height if you wanted to. -Sam |

For 3 of those years it was a two hour each direction drive for work two or three days a week. Year round. In Canada's snow belt. Lowered 1.5 inches on RSR Superdown springs. 100% functional with no significant difference from stock height and never had an issue.

You have not lived until you have blasted through 14” of fresh powder and only had to stop to push some d1ckwad in an SUV out of the way because they have no clue what snow tires are for.
