Just sight of them conjure joy for me. I recall watching Rocky 4 way back and the scene with Lambo Jalpa (which I didn't know what is was at the time).
Rocky what? They made more than one?

And the word is testosterone.

As for my story... My parents owned a pizza shop in upstate NY. Drunk people want pizza late at night, and your average driver (kids) couldn't stay out till 2am. Lucky for me, my dad didn't tell me that when I was 'offered' the job when I was 16. Turns out, not ruining hot pizza on what I now call the twisties is hard (Cheese slides off). I must have killed like 20 pizzas before someone complained (yay drunk people!). Rather than tell me just to slow down like a rational person he just gave me some 'lessons' in driving he learned from watching racing (SMH now right?). Well, hes not really an expert, but it somehow worked and I started making it into a game to see how quickly I could make the round trip without ruining the pizza (no one is on those roads after midnight anyway). I guess that's how I came to like driving and fun cars.

My story is pretty typical. My dad was always a car guy. He worked on his own cars most of his life, not by choice lol. So we would always go to car shows and what not. My dad liked the look of them more then a driver. Just liked to keep them clean and original.

The car that made me fall in love with cars though. I remember that moment. My friend's dad has, and still has, a 1977 Smokey and the Bandit Trans Am. All original and he is the only owner. Dude still has the window sticker laminated. The thing is gorgeous . He still has it and last I knew even after a move across country it has less then 10k miles on it.

Oh, I never told my story! Well, children, here it begins.

I grew up watching the Fast and Furious movies as many did in the early 2000's. Around 2006 I found a '95 Mitsubishi Eclipse GS for sale and had to have it. I loved the car and beat the piss out of it. After about a year and a half owning it, I had to sell it since I was shipping off to the Army. But I never stopped thinking which sporty car I could upgrade to. I wasn't till I began playing Forza Motorsport 3 that I really got obsessed with cars.
