So I made another stop at Robispec for the V2 Radiator/Oil Cooiler and installation as well some suspension geometry tweaks and an alignment. While it was a long day, I had a good time talking/listening to the other customers that showed up as well as the mechanics working there who were very generous about answering all my inquiries and telling awesome stories of the cars they've worked on.
Regarding the cooler set up, Robi goes over the specifics in his thread but from my own observations, the radiator/cooler is about an 1" thicker but uses the same mounting points as the OEM radiator. The stock fans mount up easily to the new cooler and the whole set up doesn't require any weird drilling or adjustment to the front crash bar or anything. Overall very nice fitment. The only note for my setup was the Greddy intake has larger housing than the OEM intake and sits further back in the bay and so the hose setup at the oil filter required a small adjustment in the routing of the hosing as well as a slightly longer hose. If you let Robi know beforehand that you have this intake, they could probably have the hoses prepared for you (especially if you get this cooler shipped out and are planning on getting it installed yourself). Robi himself took care of my alignment and while the car was on the lift, he made note of my suspension geometry and took my notes of the car's handling from the track to make adjustments. It really is a pleasure to hear him explain why he is making the changes that he is and as a customer it really gave me a peace of mind that the work on my car is being done by a consummate professional who not only knows the theory but puts it to the test on track himself. The car on the drive home felt more planted and grippy and I can't wait to see how it feels on track tomorrow. All in all, I would highly recommend Robi's parts and services!

Hooray for holiday free time! Returned from the track so I thought I'd post a few more pics...
Laguna Seca: Of all the tracks I've been to, this is easily my favorite. Beautiful scenery, awesome elevation changes and a great place to test the speed and technical prowess of the car. I've been here several times before in other cars, but this was the first time in my BRZ and the car felt great here. If you're ever on the west coast, put this track on your bucket list But back to my build... These just arrived and hoping to get them installed in the next few weeks

So I just finished installing the FA20Club AC Vent Multi-Gauge:
Super easy install: 1.) Pulled out the OEM AC vent (probably the hardest part) 2.) Ran the power cord through the gap between the dashboard and AC duct 3.) Hooked the cord into the Control Box and attached to the ODBII port 4.) Ziptied everything behind the lower dash 5.) Turned on the car and admired my first ever part installation Huge thanks to @TemeCal for the tips and help! Was originally going to have a shop install this, but with his assurance, this turned out to be a piece of cake.

Very jealous of your lights and time at MRLS. Hopefully we can join up for some track time at MRLS in the future, and you can give me some pointers!
Still thinking of the APR wing? |

And yes, I'm still looking into the APR wing! I'm also pondering solutions from Voltex as well but I think it'll be a few months before I settle on a choice.
