I received a call on Wednesday about this recall, and had it done today.
Doesn't feel any different from before...

How much time to fix and were you able to wait , instead of leaving the car?

Won't feel different, its just a "safety upgrade" to make sure it doesn't fail.

What did a coil cost to replace?

It was a front suspension spring coil - done under warranty. They didn't do the invoice yet when I collected

I had my steering ECU replaced today. It took an hour and a half, and I waited in the dealership lounge while they did it.

My car went in on Monday, they replaced my clutch, one ignition coil and without me even asking they did the recall for the power steering ECU

Booked my car for a service on Tuesday. Did it through the Toyota app, and it automatically picked the recall up. Got a confused call from the dealership a bit later, but I'll see what happens then.

The dealer had no idea what was going on when I got there, but eventually caught up, ordered the parts, and installed it on Wednesday. Four hours, including a car wash.

My recall and a routine fixed price service was done yesterday.
They replaced the ps wiring loom and rhd ECU.
The new ECU learnt the fuel trims in just 50ks instead of the usual 200ks.
The new ECU has much smoother torque delivery and throttle blip on downshifts is great.
No more bogging down during first gear launch.
My only rant is the $207 fixed price service cost $261 due to environment levies.
I hope my $54 can get some water to farmers!

I've had mine done too recently..

Believe they only change the PS ECU, not the main ECU?

I think you are right about that!
I can't explain how the car learnt the trims so quickly and drives so much better.
Maybe they loaded an updated tune!
There is no noticeable difference with the steering.

Maybe it was the service stuff, oil and air filter that made the difference?

I only pay $180 for my fixed price service in WA

Not looking forward to the 90000km service($2000)!!

Think I will change the plugs myself then
