Happened to me too. Make sure the windows are nice and warmed up. You should still be able to have them go down if you press them all the way, and same for bringing them back up. What I did was bring them down, then back up and held the switch for a few seconds after and it cleared the issue. Hope this helps!

Now if there is just a way to program the car so it doesn't roll the windows down. Seems this happened because it did rain here yesterday then got to roughly 28* last night. It's been colder here before, but I guess the addition of moisture made them stick.

@DanoFA20, you have this too? Don't know if you leave your FR-S outside. Also, what about you @speedracer38?

EDIT: Also, page 223/224 of the manual states it too.

IIRC, the "Auto" function will not work until the jam (the car thinks it's a jam) is cleared. So you have to push the switch all the way to make the window work at all. I also shut the car off, then hit the button twice without the clutch pressed (Basically lets you use everything, without the engine on. Can't remember the name off hand).

1) lower window all the way, keep holding switch down for 5 seconds.
2) Raise window all the way, and hold switch up for 5 seconds.

It sounds like your windows just need a reset.

It's fine don't worry. Just open the door and blast the heat for a bit you won't break the window if it doesn't roll down a few inches like normal.

This is a concern I've been having as well. It's been really cold here in the mornings lately and pretty much every morning my car is completely frosted over. The windows can't do the auto roll down when you open the door because of the frost. I'm hoping this doesn't damage the mechanism.

Are you able to move the windows at all with the switch? Try both toggle switches in the switch (half way and full).

So do both lights blink? Have you tried resetting the window on the pass side by using the pass side switch?

Mine did this today, it was below freezing this morning, but I park in a covered area so my car had no frost on it whatsoever, so I guess everyone should get used to doing the reset.

1. I had the car off, key in the on position.
2. Roll the Window Down
3 Hold the button down for an additional 5 seconds
4. Roll the Window Up
5. Hold the button up for an additional 5 seconds.
