It happened to me for the first time last week going straight. The weather got down into the 40's (which does not happen much in Ft Lauderdale) and the car had a little extra power. I was accelerating hard when it happened in a staight line. My car did not slide left or right though, it felt more like the front end came of the ground slightly, almost like i have a broken motor mount. The tc kicked in and nothing bad happened.

the mounts are fine though and the tires did not come off the ground completely, just enough for it to skip it felt like.

Hmm, not going fast, very wide and long curve, low g's, get on the gas and the front slips wide? Outside of tires and tire pressures (what are they btw?), maybe something weird going on with the diff...

The speed limit on the road i showed you is 35, when i accelerate to get up to 35 it will slip. Or coming out of a long overpass and starting to accelerate it does it. If its wet is happens a lot worse. I also have an auto so its not like i am jerking the car with the clutch.

The best way i can explain it is, it almost feels like the car is on the sidewall of the tire for a moment and it slips. I know thats not whats happening though.

You're going to need a video, or someone local... diagnosing this with very few details and a picture is going to be basically impossible.

Did any shop actually check/perform alignment on a rack?

It was much worse on my last set of tires since they were not as soft as my current set. I had them put on 2 months ago with an alignment done.

I think I am going to have the Recall done and make sure they check everything. I did my last oil change at the dealer because I wanted them to check if anything was wrong that would cause the issue and they said they did not see anything. I have no clue if he really checked or just did the oil change. The first tire shop I took it to said they can not see anything visibly and they did the alignment. I used those tires only 2 years because I was thinking maybe something with the tires so I put on the Firestones (They are great tires though especially in the wet). With the Firestones it happens less. It did not happen the first 2 years I owned the car.

I would look more towards the rear differential, with it being limited slip and torsen function (I believe). If you’re on acceleration it wouldn’t allow your differential to put power to one wheel as the other has already met its limited slip function. This would act as though the wheels are turning together and pushing the front straight. This is of course a hypothesis and I’d be curious to see what happens if you feathered the accelerator through one of these corners that usually would give you the slipping.

All in all I’d target the rear differential, check/replace your fluid, jack it up and make sure your wheels spin independently (as much as the limited slip allows)

OP have you checked your tire pressures recently?

Sounds like a simple floaty feeling because you now have massive tires and didn't realize that is going to reduce response and make that happen. Unless you are racing that size is not going to be your friend.

What tires are you running?

Some feel awful to drive on. I had back to back comparison between a 205/55R16 Pirelli and a 225/45R17 Toyo and the toyo's felt terrifying on the highway in corners.
