I'm wondering this as well... I don't see how it would benefit a daily driver as I would guess speed would need to be high for it to actually provide the extra downforce. I guess this is for track day users?

It was common knowledge that the usual Toyota cruise control know is on the wheel (behind to the right). What everyone was debating was the music controls and the cruise control visible on the front of the wheell. So, nothing new here.

It should help clean up airflow in the rear as opposed to it becoming turbulent through the exhaust system. Big benefit? Not for most people. I'm getting it for looks, because I think it makes the rear look more "finished"

I guarantee you that's a copy-and-paste thing from their other car formats. Meaning it's not true. We have that on our Audi website: "Schedule a test drive of the 2013 allroad today!" (except we're not getting any until October and they'll be pre-sold so you really can't drive one).
