Anyone else doing the car control class at PIR on Oct 1?
I figure this would be a great opportunity to get some legit instruction instead of me doing stupid shit and it MAYBE working...

It's for 15-21 year olds. It's some driving exercises and some classroom time. Mostly it's about having kids drive over the limit so they don't full-on panic the first time it happens on the street.
It's not performance driving, if that's what you're looking for. |

Well if you're in the right age bracket and want tips on defensive driving, then it's fine.
If you want performance driving in a controlled environment, you're looking for traditional autocross. |

I was thinking about coming down to PIR for one of their HPDE days in late October.
