Anyone else doing the car control class at PIR on Oct 1?

I figure this would be a great opportunity to get some legit instruction instead of me doing stupid shit and it MAYBE working...

It's for 15-21 year olds. It's some driving exercises and some classroom time. Mostly it's about having kids drive over the limit so they don't full-on panic the first time it happens on the street.

It's not performance driving, if that's what you're looking for.

Well if you're in the right age bracket and want tips on defensive driving, then it's fine.

If you want performance driving in a controlled environment, you're looking for traditional autocross.

I was thinking about coming down to PIR for one of their HPDE days in late October.
