Not to sound too cynical, but the only official information we have about the tS for USDM is in the one press release from SOA:

http://media.subaru.com/pressrelease...rx-sti-type-ra

Therefore, while we could speculate, extrapolate from JDM land, or have an insider tell us something they should not. However, the simple answer is we just don't know.

Ugly laughed at this. My girlfriend doesn't understand my car in the slightest. Also add the constant "why do I feel every bump in the road?". Tried explaining how suspension works, but she still thinks its because I suck at driving.

The sight of railway tracks approaching in the distance would start a wailing like a tornado alarm!

You guys have put the fear in me. I guess I have to start treating my better MUCH better.

Back before the SBDRMSAO my adrenaline fix was motorcycles. My wife loved tagging along. She though it was cool if she had to raise her foot when it dragged the pavement in a corner. And this was when she was in her late 50s.

I must have it pretty good.

Giggling and laughter can be a reaction to being scared and feeling pain.

If I remember correctly,
the reaction laughing to being tickled is actually a panic response. I.E. fear.

Also, I am sticking with the STI.
If nothing else I enjoy the STI badges and warm and fuzzies of knowing I own an actual STI. Maybe that makes me an idiot in your opinion, and that's fine. Everyone is entitled to their opinion.

My point of this post was if something better was coming, and someone already answered that... 'Worry about what is out now, not what might come',
so I am sticking with the STI.

Hoping to pick it up around June/July time frame depending on when the new job starts up and how my daughter is. She is only about a week old right now but doing very well. so fingers crossed.

I made zero comments about your car purchase.

That part of my comment wasn't directed to you, just the thread in general.

That's kind of cool, but I definitely don't want the barebones version. It is really cool of Subaru to offer it though.
