Why pay more money for a heavier, slower car?

There's actually a lot to love about the Type R, unfortunately there's just as much to hate if that makes sense

Nice! Lucky that Honda dealership surrounded the car with a the red lines and all. The Honda dealership I work at decides to just throw in the type r with the rest of the ugly cars. You have little children jumping in and out of the car and kicking the seats and all. Another type R...destroyed. What a shame and big L for my dealer.

It's a shame ego hurts so many great cars. It's probably why the Boxster outsold the S2k, shame Honda keeps putting themselves in a losing position.

At least Honda tried this time. And there's probably not much they could have done aside from take a huge loss on each unit to give it more go-fast or sacrifice heritage (and likely a bit of fun) with AWD.

Look at those tiny little rubber band tires! 245/30 on 20" wheels! I can't imagine that 30 series sidewall rides very nice.

Reportedly better than the FoRS

But I totally agree, one of the things I really don't like about the car is the 20" wheel choice.

I could be wrong, but I thought they had went with 20's to help deal with torque steer on a 300HP FWD

Sorry, I don't understand how that would help.
