I love all these yellow bits, but man the different kits make my head spin. Do I have this right...?

925 is an insert kit to stiffen the stock bushings (cradle and outrigger), whereas 923 & 924 fully replace those same bushings (but in two separate kits).

A friend's shop is making solid everything and while I could get a good deal, I don't think it's worth the DD tradeoff. He likes all that noise more than I do. Though I'm not too crazy about the big knob look...

Yes.

925 is inserts for both the diff AND outrigger. 923 and 924 are FULL replacement urethane bushings for those same locations. I might consider full urethane...but the cost of getting those bushings pressed is probably not worth it. Loved high duro poly I had in my WRX rear diff.

Yeah, I don't really want to deal with pressing anything out. Thanks, mang.

In the GD, the diff support bar itself came out and it was hilariously easy to "press" the bushings out by putting a socket on the floor, the bar on top of the socket, and then stepping on it REAL hard. Very fun. I'm going to take a look our service manual tonight and see if the support bar comes out as easily or if it's integral to the rear subframe...if it is, then f that noise.

What bar is that? You mean the actual subframe?

Thanks for posting this thread right after I purchased the KDT922 and KDT925. Makes me feel better about my purchase. I also have the STi motor and trans mounts coming soon... I'm hoping this should virtually eliminate the lurching my FX400 has created. I will gladly let you guys know how the combo feels compared to stock, and how well it holds up to FI.

LMAO My bad for not realizing how old this is.....

If you come to Cars & Coffee tomorrow and I'm feeling generous, I'll let you drive too or at a minimum ride in the passenger seat.

From a casual glance at the manual, it would appear that in this car the rear diff bolts DIRECTLY to the subframe. Could be possible to press the old diff bushings out with the diff removed and the subframe on the car, but I don't know how much I feel like doing that.

@racecompengineering

Do you guys have the torque specs for the bolts on this install. The instructions do not say what to tighten to and I am doing this install soon.
