Now that Lichfield have their car ( which was photo'd in the Ecutek thread on the dyno today) , I'm getting ready to mod the car.

Picked up a tidy quote from Elephant Insurance today; with map, exhaust and filter , plus 25% power, for £590; pretty good for parked in the street in London.

I know Miltek will be doing an exhaust for the BRZ so hopefully it won't be too long, before we can get going. Hopefully a couple of nice cone filters too.

Track day next.... when the final 440 miles of running in is done; think I'll stretch the car a bit more even now though.

Just out of interest did you get time to see what the service interval is?

Intervals are 10k or 12 months

Running in is 4000 rpm limit for first 1000 miles.

I'm at about 600 miles and I've kept below 4k so far (well mostly ) but I think I will push it a bit more now

Dying to go on a track day so I need to complete the job.

Was thinking of a shakedown at Bedford before adding Litchfield magic.

played around with the trip today, and I've managed 36.5 average mpg which I think is pretty good; mix, town, A road, motorway, country lanes but not more than 4.5k rpm over 600 miles... on a new engine. I like it

Also found the cool template in the glovebox for checking whether Subaru will do the free dent repair under the impressive ETC package.

That's a nice little bonus. I've not seen anything similar from Toyota, or anyone else come to that.

We bought a 6 month old Cooper S last year. MINI do the same. We have a similar little target too!
