Gah, I know it's been said already in this thread but I don't think I can say it enough... Galaxy Blue is UNBELIEVABLE... So gorgeous.

Of course I have purchased new cars before. I should have been a little more clear as my question was rhetorical in nature. That said, we are not talking about a hum-drum assed Honda Accord here. Whether people consider the BRZ 'economy' or not doesn't matter, it is an exciting car that will capture quite a bit of interest once they start hitting the streets, and moving beyond our somewhat insular community. That the BRZ event, which is the subject of this thread was new material for many of the dealer's personnel, and not review is still sad, IMO.

My brother had his celica in that Spectra Blue Mica, looks just like that which is absolutely NOT a bad thing. I'm very glad I ordered GBS.

By the way what kind of training does it take to sell a BRZ?

Salesman: So this here is the new 2013 BRZ....
Customer: Sold.

Eek! A Spyder!
I wish we got the Spyder up here in Canada... I figure if Miatas can handle our winters (which I've seen), the Spyder should be fine too...

You should make sure the "turbo" is fully covered and then bring it back under warranty as a problem with it not spooling the "turbo".

Or just say there was a mix up at the factory and they forgot to install it. What if that actually worked?

The OP is from Ohio... perhaps it's in an area where that dealership sells more cars to people who need AWD for their climate, as opposed to the enthusiast market that guns for the WRXs and STIs.

Conversely, either of the two closest dealerships to me in Orange County have probably known about this car for quite a while, but again, the dealerships here cater to a different crowd.

If it is the same one the guy from my dealership is going to, it is the week of the 24th and in New Orleans, LA.

Yeah. My dealership said "we probably won't hear anything until after that show in New Orleans at the end of the month. " bah
