Do we really know the real curb weights of both the BRZ and FR-S in thier lightest configurations? Iv'e heard so many different numbers from the Media. What is Correct?

Wait for official specs. Until then all of the numbers are just guesses. The tech manuals are the most accurate but we have no idea how they were measured (ie, dry, wet, to Japanese requirements, etc)

Quote:
That is typically the GVWR, which is not the curb weight. We could take the GVWR and minus whatever total cargo capacity is from the owners manual and get a semi-specific number. |

Then we're gonna need a really big weight scale lol. Or take it to a truck stop to where the scales are.

Or just open the brochure.. at least that will give you an averaged base weight measured per US requirements.
