I just got the 10 pack of license plate bulb oem replacements from amazon, plugged it in and its the right bulb, its daytime, but light output seems to match oem perfect too, so they are both the same intensity.
it was 4.something for a 10 pack. who knows how long they will last, but at least i have ten lol https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B0...?ie=UTF8&psc=1 |

Got out into the field today with one of the guys who has been around for a few decades.
He’s a bit of a dinosaur, and does a lot of things in somewhat antiquated ways, but he’s also managed to adapt to using the technology the company has introduced in the last few years very well and is super knowledgeable about the concept of cathodic protection overall. I’m positive I’m going to be able to lean on him pretty heavily for my first few weeks/months for help. As far as the work goes, seems like a bit of a cakewalk compared to what I’m used to in physical demand at least and it looks like my mind will get a lot more exercise which I’m very happy about. I’m so glad that I followed through with this job. Got home today and was just sitting in my truck for a few minutes feeling kinda overwhelmed with how happy and relieved and excited I am for this opportunity. While there are the usual silly things going on, just like with any company, it sounds like this department is fairly sheltered from it and I’m going to have a really good time being here. I'm always up for chili dogs. Breakfast of champions if you can't get a gas station country ham biscuit in the morning.

Chili dogs are surprisingly difficult to find here. My meal of choice when I head to Detroit though.

I found out something amusing yesterday.
My 2004 Suburban counts as an alternate fuel vehicle in Georgia and allows me to use the carpool lanes even if single rider, if I pay for the AF tag, because it's flexfuel and will run on E85.. I had lunch with a buddy that was telling me he has a friend that has been doing it for 5 years in his Suburban. Apparently technically you have to be able to show you put E85 in it if you ever get questioned. Very tempting....
