Don't they have the "motorsport only" clause?

That's how we roll here

It isn’t where you are located that matters; it is who you are selling to. Normally the website specifically says “can not ship to California”. This is regardless of whether the website is claiming that the product is for off-road use only.

They are moving. They've sold off everything they could so they didn't have to move it. Am I the only one that gets their newsletter?

Carb seems evil to the individual but when you look at the big picture it worked. Driving through Toronto or Detroit in the early 70s was hellish so I can not even picture what LA or SF were like. Considering that the number of cars on the road has doubled since then I doubt that some cities would even be habitable by now if it wasn't for emissions regulations.

Yea, I'm about as far from a "big government" guy as you can get, probably just left of being a character in Fry Cry 5, but I agree with this. There are parts of it that are a pain but it has in general been for the greater good.

Will add that many like to point out how horrible the California Carb laws are but the fact is that most of the emission laws are actually Federal not State. California has added a few and actually enforce the rest where many States just tend to ignore them since they never had smog issues. It is illegal to remove or modify emissions control devices anyplace in North America. This includes both Mexico and Canada. It is not just a California thing.

Not to pull a Twin Dragons but... emissions problems in the US is not car-related. It's the damn cows and their incessant release of methane! They called me crazy! They all called me crazy!!!

Now they are yes. At least at the global level. Cars used to be the leader especially in large urban centers. The methane is one issue the CO and hydro carbons from combustion are something else. Cows did not create the smog of the big urban centers cars did. They would again if allowed to just spew untreated exhaust into the air in large volumes.
