WIX filters rate pretty highly on BITOG.

Who makes the Subaru filters? Tokyo Roki? I know they're expensive down under

What oil did you run with the WIX FRSAZ? Toyota 0w-20?

Eneos 0w-20 is good stuff. They used to make Toyota 0w-20, has lots of moly in it compared to other brands. Will be more than good enough for 7500m intervals

I guarantee you that I am much more thorough with my work. I've had 2 issues with previous dealers, and finally stopped giving them my work (WAY overtightened oil drain bolt...other time didn't tighten the oil filter enough, which caused oil to majorly leak).

I trust myself, far more than the dealer. I'd be willing to bet, most are more cautious with their own vehicle over the dealer's work.

I have watched some video reviews of oil filters and the Wix Xp and K&N Pro look to be really good, but what weight of oil and what brand is compatible with our cars, synthetic ect???

Cheers

I've never seen a single one. Do you have any back up such as photos you may have taken.

Speaking about @Scrappydoo .......that reminds me of a back-in-the-day story.

It was a hot, muggy day in Redfield, AR, and I was helping set up a toxicology lab, to test pharmaceutical candidate chemical compounds on mice, rats and dogs.

We had ordered 500 stainless steel dog bowls. Some bean counter at corporate decided to be a hero, to save money, and changed the order to 500 plastic dog bowls.

Now, you take a dog, in a cage, on experimental drugs, with a plastic bowl and absolutely nothing else to do ........ guess what happens to the plastic bowl ......
