Wheel Directory: Rota Titan 17x9.0 +45
Love this setup very good service from wheeldude they have definitely have spent some time doing UX training. 17x9 Rota Titan -Hyper Black (5x100/e42/73) @ 17.8lbs PilotSuper Sport 245/40/17 @ 23lbs I got 40.9lbs total weight not sure where the .1 extra came from? OEM17" wheel & tire combo= 41.4 lbs This setup saved about .5 lbs per corner and gained a huge amount of grip for very little $. Cost of the Titans with Christmas sale was about $700 shipped Money I saved compared to rimes I was going to get got me this: RaceCompEngineering "Yellow" Lowering Springs Camberbolts for the front 2mm spacers (just in case I needed them on the front, I did not so I used them on the back for a little more poke). Lifttime aliments to my specks at firestone. Last edited by DarrenDriven; 05-11-2014 at 03:44 PM. Reason: photo links bad |

Got a set of these in white for my SWP sitting in my garage. Waiting for weather to get a bit better over here.
Is this before you put the racecomp springs on? |

PSS have a rounded edge so it enhances that effect. I don't know about DIIs, but I hear RS3s run pretty wide. Even so, a 255 is more "fitted" to a 9" wheel anyway. My 2010 STi had 8.5" wide wheels and the 245 Dunlops had a slight stretch.

The 245s have slight stretch the pics do not do it justice they look quit meatey.
If I had to do it again I would go 255. the pics are with the racecomp springs on it, looks lower in person. Personally I think this is a very good DD setup that can be fun at the track also. The Sup is very fun and gives me the big HP fix I need every once in a while. |

I called and asked, wheeldude did not know they weren't on the web for the FRS so they added it after my call.

What offset are the rims? You needed spacers front and rear?

Is the 5mm spacer needed? or did you just use it for your peace of mind?
you still using the stock lug bolts or did you have to get longer ones? |

Offset is 42. Only needed spacers in the front.

Without the spacer it is way too close. No it doesn't quite touch, but it's not a safe clearance. I have seen others with 3mm spacers on the same offset and I will probably switch to 3s when I get some time. Still using stock lugs.
