Yes. My registration has the make as Toyota and the model as Scion. No FR-S anywhere on it.

What are you guys running for rear toe? Has anybody beside John Hale tried other rear toe settings?
My FRS with Rivals, Perrin small front sway bar set stiff, crash bolts and Konis steps out too much on corner exit when applying the throttle. I'm tunning 1/16" total toe in. I'm thinking 1/8" total for next year. Maybe more. Any thoughts?

I'm running zero rear toe. No issues with stepping out. 34/32 on tires. I'm on konis 1/2 turn from soft in rear.

FRS will be a little more loose than a BRZ.

Try some rear toe in. I wouldn't go more than 1/8"

My setup isn't far from this - major differences are OEM shocks and the Hotchkis bar on full stiff. I have more push than oversteer at corner exit, but I can be a lot more aggressive with early throttle application. Try a bigger bar or be more patient on the throttle (I know, probably not the answer you wanna hear).

Too much toe in can make a car stable, but it won't turn as well - the outside rear will essentially be trying to steer the car in the wrong direction mid turn.

try dropping your rear tire pressures 2 psi.

So

I've looked far and wide..

and it seems the only "sensible" wheel choice for a competitive C-Street car are the RPF1

everything else is either knock-off grade, or expensive (400/wheel ++)

Like OZ, Weds, Volks etc

I mean, I have no real issue going with RPF1s, but I do prefer the styling of the other brands (I also want the wheels in white).

and I'm done chasing used wheels, that shit ain't worth the hustle.

thoughts? RPF1-and-forget-about-it?

A buddy and I have both been using the Kosei K4R this year and they have been great. About the same weight as the rpf1 but cheaper and I prefer the looks. Sadly they don't come in white, but but nothing a little plastidip can't fix.

I just can't dig em

but you're right, they are a really good alternative (one of my first wheels were from Kosei and they're still alive today).

Maybe if I look at enough pictures I'd be more amiable by the time spring rolls around

If anyone in the Twin Cities, Chicago or Milwaukee area is looking for used 17x7 rims, I have 2 sets of Enkei RPF1 (black), and a set of Kosei K1 TS for sale. Not interested in dealing with the hassles of shipping at this time.

Got me wishin' I still lived in the Detroit area. Ship them and I'd be interested.

Same wheel myself and about half the Twins at nats were using. I bought them for the price difference and to try and be different than everyone with RPF1s...look how that turned out!

The only catch is they are a +50 offset which results in a slight loss of track width compared to OEM. If you want to space them out to take advantage of the offset allowance you need lengthened studs.

I have some Buddy Club P1 17x7 +42 that I got off a member here this year. They're the perfect offset but a few pounds heavier than the Enkei/Koseis. I usually run my K4R's with 5mm spacers.
