Feel a little 'bump' when I brake when CEL is on.

P0171 lean code. I've had it for a while now. I've noticed that when the light is on, and I brake, I feel a subtle 'bump' right before I come to a stop. When I clear the code, the car brakes 100% smoothly. How could a light cause my car to have that bump when I brake?

Hm. I kinda experienced this with a different CEL (ABS sensor broken) causing limp mode, every time I came to a stop the car would almost stall.

Well shit. I have an ABS code too (C1201). I didn't think too much of it. The slip lights only come on sometimes. Even when the light isn't on, I still feel the bump. So weird. My RPM's drop when I come to a stop and would sometimes almost stall as well but I'm assuming that's because of the lean issue from my P0171 code.

Sounds like

But as always, if you've got fault codes, have those issues fixed FIRST.

@kev0 limp mode was a pretty severe occurrence in my case. I was unable to rev past 3500 rpm, scary on the highway.

Take care of the ABS problem first and clear codes and see if your lean code goes away.

No.

C1201 is there to inform you that there is an engine management problem. Repair the engine control system malfunction and it will go away by itself.
