Full blown Stage 1 premium turbo kit vs JDL v2.1

Just comparing the two and is the full blown kit worth the extra money compared to the jdl kit? looking for opinions, reviews, flaws, anything would help thank you.

NOT same. JDL is UEL, Full Blown is EL. Full blown kit comes with a base map, it comes with some supporting mods, and I'd trust the full blown kit to last longer. JDL is amazing, Full Blown is just a step above that.

I would pick Full Blown just for the EL header. it also places the intake filter out of the engine bay, which is awesome. The amount of options you get with either is great, but if you're picking one or the other, Full Blown 100%

It comes with a base map? But you still need to buy ECUTek kit to use it?

Correct. They give you the tune, but not a license for the software used. They are assuming you will already have a license, it would be a frivolous expense to give you an additional ECU license since most people will have already bought one.

JDL has EL option for turbo although I think it's 300 extra. They also have cold air intake for V2 instead of short ram, but it also costs extra.

Both are good quality, both are customizable. The tune that comes with the FB kit is just meant to test for leaks and to drive to your tuner/starting point for an e-tune. You can opt for a no cut version of the JDL where the charge piping layout is almost identical to FBM's. I can only speak to the quality of JDL, ive ran their kit for just over 3 years now and am a happy customer. FBM does great work too from what I've heard and read...I'd say price them both out how you want them optioned and go with your gut instinct.
