That is true! Instead we are going to go walk around some 70 year old ships and hang out with a bunch of Californians.

One good thing about Reno, when I was there in October, you could still play single deck $5 blackjack all night. Try that in vegas.
Neither of us are into the show or club sort of stuff so as long as there are card games and slot machine for her and museums and hobby shops for me it is fine. We actually go to Greektown in Detroit a few times a year so Reno should be right up her ally.

Speaking of Reno, I'll tell a back-in-the-day story about running shine from Nevada into California. @Tcoat ...... have I told this story ..... ??

Anyway, I was working out of the companies Agricultural Research Center in Mt View, CA and several of my clients (cooperators) were located at the University of Nevada in Reno.

Now, since I was in charge of keeping our company liquor room well stocked (talk about putting the fox in charge of the hen house) I would stop in Nevada and load the trunk up full of booze (which was quite a bit cheaper in Nevada).

OK, late one afternoon, I was all loaded (trunk and back seat) with first class booze and headed out on I-80 for the San Jose. It was a clear summer evening and my company car was running good ....... and we were making good time ........

Somewhere between the Nevada/California border and Truckee, CA ....... a CHP thought I was going jest a little too fast. I saw him come down off that on ramp and I did get slowed down from about 105 mph to maybe 85 mph.

He was not impressed and after he pulled me over, he ask to see in the trunk (yep, back in the 60s they could do that).

After explaining the situation to him and convincing him I had actually purchased the booze and was not a "runner" he let me off with just a hefty speeding ticket. My lucky night ......

THE END

So I bought a dbrand skin for my phone (basically a vinyl wrap). On the surface, great idea. In practice, absolutely terrible. Hard to apply, collects dirt and grime where the edges of the wrap are and is crazy slippery.

3/10 can't recommend

Oh, my, HERE is the case for you ..........

Waterproof - for when you drop it into the toilet

Shatter proof - for when the conversation with you GF is not going right and you throw it against the wall

Wrist band - so as it doesn't slip out of your grip

Universal fit - so three months from now when you get a new phone, you can still use it

There ya go .........
