Still have a massive headache and my sinuses feel like they're about to explode. Kidney failure is looking a lot better than this kind of pain. Should have called in sick to work today.

That IS a good cover. It was a thrill playing behind him yesterday... VERY talented, warm guy.

Yea, used to work IT at Delta so familiar with it. They had 3,100+ flights cancelled or delayed and most were >90% full so a lot of logistics to get that straightened back out.

Unfortunately the price of bargain basement airfares. The airlines can't afford to fly with empty seats any more (it cost just as much (well almost) to fly an empty seat as it does one carrying a passenger) so there is less flexibility when things go bad.

WOOHOO have figured out the problem with my GPS receivers not updating. All it took was a quick email to the mfg, who sent back a couple quick tips and the correct firmware (that isn't listed on their website anywhere for some reason) and now I'm rockin' and rollin'

Yeah my Mom had go to Austin, TX via Las Vegas on SOUTHWEST because so many people are jumping to SW today. (She is flying standby using my benefits so paying PAX get priority)

Haha yeah pros and cons to everything. Anyway it's better than paying a subscription (protection) fee just to stay virus free. Although now that Windows doesn't have the monopoly anymore they can provide their own anti-virus (Defender I think it's called) without violating Federal law.

Agh, the joys of standby. We used to do it with the entire family (5 of us) once or twice a year. Of course, I had the advantage of being able to see passenger loads so that made it a little easier. Still more than once we had to split the kids and go on separate flights.

Couldn't beat the price, though.

Of course, any more standby is almost non-existent, again thanks to passenger load.

For sinus problems, I suggest you snort lots of saltwater.

That will take your mind off your headache.

Then, when you notice the headache again, take 8 Canadian aspirin.

Clock out sick, stop at the liquor store and buy a quart of gin, go to bed in a 4 poster bed ...... drink the gin until you see 4 posts at the foot of the bed.

The next day ....... all you will have to feel bad about is a giant hangover.

Took me 6 runs (and a passenger) to finally get a decent, clean score. Tires couldn't warm up at all due to how cold it was. Shaking off 7 months of rust was also a challenge... and that hangover >_>

Ya reckon the hangover had anything to do with it taking 6 runs .....
