So long as the BRZ stays the same we will have the two camps. People who want this car to be more of a DD, and possibly track it when they can. Then there will be the group that want to buy this car and rip out the entire interior, put in a roll cage and see if they can drift this thing without putting it into a wall.

Personally I plan on the 86 to be my Daily, and I will happily pay more for a better interior and go BRZ.
He's staying just the way he is.

greddy sticker makes sense because greddy is building up Ken Gushi's formula drift FR-S.

im happy as hell most of the extra creature comfort stuff is gone.
im a very "no frills" kind of car guy. loved my ae86 for its simplicity. this is perfect for me.

bring on the price!!! and concave front seatbacks so my kids dont kick my spleen out the windshield lol

annnnd i just saw the extra pics of the greddy version.
EPIC. love the exhaust. probably has greddy coilovers too. just put the wheels from the AE86 on the FR-S and i will refinance my house for it RIGHT NOW.

Note the GReddy exhaust.

That modified version looks very very interesting. What is under the hood I wonder. 5 letter word?

From all the complaining you would think the car does not even come with A/C at all.

:P Well I was hoping for a "low" spec one that was lowered price. Just kinda wish the climate control on the gt86 was there. There's a difference between having an economical version and well... cheap lol. And we have nothing else to complain about so complain about it we must!

I wonder why they aren't showing the weight on the preliminary specs. With some of the reviews listing a 2800lb+ weight, this concerns me.

Well said sir! Your not driving the friggen radio or the LED's etc.. You have to start with the platform.. They've done a sweet job from what I can see. I'm one to go with Toyota over the BRZ for two reasons. One is price, second the trust factor. I trust Toyota more then I do the Suburu.. There are more dealership's around as far as maint etc. My gut tells me to go with Toyo over the Suburu.. Not that Subaru is bad, it's just my gut telling me I like Toyota better is all..

My two cents worth about half a penny in today's day and age..

Two things come to mind when I see the missing amenities that come on the GT86 and BRZ.

1) It will be lighter on the wallet "check"

and

2) It will be the lightest of the 3 models (GT86 and BRZ) "Hella Check".

I can skip on the additions like dual climate control, don't like the headlight LED of the 86, and it has better looking tails than the 86. Can't wait to drive it and own it.

to be honest its not bad at all.... compared to my 03 civic si the interior is amazing. a different head unit is a sintch but i was hoping for a push to start button. that would be pretty cool......fyi i never got to use one before lol
