No. The HPS 5.0 is what I would consider a "street performance" pad.

The HP+ pad on the other hand is not only noisy, but also very dusty......and not great on the track either.

Thanks everyone for all the great feedback! Seems like there are a lot of mixed opinions on the stoptech pads so perhaps I’ll stay away from those ones.

@DarkSunrise you know you can just @ my name instead of quoting everything I just said before your post

I actually like quoting for context. Makes it easy to know what you're responding to.

Did you have the newer version of the stoptechs? If newer, street or performance? I'm still wondering if stoptech/centric reformulated their old 309/SP linup.

Calm down. Not sure why you're so triggered about being quoted, but it's silly. Relax. Breathe. You will be ok.

The Sport are the old performance. The street are a step down.

Yeah I heard that too. Do you know if anything changed when they renamed their lineup?

Not according to Tire Rack. I bought the sports a year or two ago and messaged them prior to see. They said it was the same

A friend just went from stock brakes to EBC yellow pads and uprated front brake discs.
And also braided brake lines thrown into the mix. He does a lot of spirited drives and so far the brakes are upto his satisfaction.

Another option to consider.
