WMI Nozzle location

Those who installed a WMI kit, where do you place your nozzle?

Pre TB or Post?
I'm looking at the torque solutions TB spacer as it has a port for the nozzle. My only concern is some people who put the nozzle post TB says the WM can't atomize properly before entering the engine.

In Europe, when we make LPG injection for better fuel economy, we normally mount the nozzles pst TB. But for meth injection and on a boxer engine I think it would be more appropriate pre TB.

Just a turbocharger.

Had an offer for a snow performance stage 2 kit but think I might pass on it for now but still curious about where the nozzle will be mounted. The spacer from Torque Solutions says it is for Meth, Nitrous, or boost/vaccuum source.

Otherwise I'd think for pre TB you'd drill and tap into the piping right before the coupler.

Also reading up on people doing it pre-MAF sensor so in the event of failure (even with failsafes) the MAF can see the cooler charged air that was supposed to be there isn't there anymore and will adjust accordingly.

From my understanding, the further away from engine you inject the less cooling benefits from water but better methanol atomization. The closer the better cooling benefits but worse atomization. However most WMI use a 200psi pump with a finely atomized nozzle so it is spraying pretty well atomized from the nozzle. Plus with FI the more air speed/volume/pressure should help atomization as well.
It is recommended to spray post MAF as the WM can ruin the MAF sensor. But 6”+ pre TB as sometimes the WM can ruin the TB as well
If injecting post TB its recommended to get a solenoid valve to prevent syphoning at idle.
And about a dozen reasons I personally opted to trunk mount as apposed to using Ptuning’s kit.

Also I'm using that TB spacer, but i am SC. If i was turboed i would probably place it 6-10” pre TB, or if i was making enough power inject both pre and post TB.

Whenever I'd done water injection installations the injection point has been pre-turbo and the trick is to inject the water so its jet is targeted at the compressor nut to avoid eroding the impeller blades

the water mist at the compressor inlet then has a twofold benefit , 1) it helps seal the compressor and increase efficiency, 2) the temperature differential between the water and the hot compressed air is at the maximum so it all converts into vapour and reduces the air temp as much as possible
