Currently a new-ish vendor called @LED86 is selling both aluminum anodized HVAC rings and vent garnish in another thread. I don't believe he's related to 86Industries or ZN6_86 but have never directly asked.

Hi, yes in no way related I can assure you!
Im not here to bad mouth any vendors (or banned vendors) but I have followed the story on that debacle.
I generally just market led products to the Australian market but after seeing that story and since its the same product i decided to extend it to overseas orders as well.
We are currently taking preorders as they are scheduled to finish manufacture at the end of the month.

Still no decent alternative to the crappy ac knobs after two years of fr-s being out. It has to happen soon! You can get nice after market ac knobs for mazda 3's and suzuki swifts ect.. strange there is still no replacement knobs for fr-s

Yeah those ones are pretty ordinary though in my opinion. I'm hanging out for some OEM style silver rimmed with black rubber outers ect. Maybe even design myself if I have to lol

You see, it's not just a knob. Each knob is part of a larger assembly. Getting to them isn't difficult at all if you don't mind taking your center console area apart.
