FR-S needs cheap-o tires to make the car more "fun". Throw on some grippier tires and see that fun factor go down. |

People take shit way to serious. Hope you had fun with your friend and his car. Thats the point.
I didnt buy an FR-S because I wanted the fastest thing on the streets. I want to have fun, driving and working on my car, without selling my organs on the black market, as well as my first born. Besides, I do not find alot of the higher end cars visually appealing. Having seen the cayman in person when I worked at the VW plant in TN, its ugly as shit....to me. To each his own. |

Also if straight line speed is something you really want and are willing to spend up to the price of a Cayman S, i recommend you looking into other cars. This may not be for you unless you are willing to modify. |

Lol, wasnt even a street race =p
More like a rolling acceleration clip, with the FR-S more than likely sitting in the tq dip and out of power band....not that it would matter in that straight away. |

A toyobaru owner needs only to know one thing, that's it's better than a Porsche Cayman S!!!! Don't worry about losing to a camry because, remember, it's better than a Porsche Cayman S. If you forget that, while being flogged to death by a Megane RS, just chant in spiritual bliss, it's better than a Porsche Cayman S. Do ya get now?

Anyone who payed even the slightest attention to these cars knows how this would play out. There shouldn't be any surprise. All it takes is a simple calculator and quick internet search for HP and curb weight. |
