We're hoping to keep the return style/swirl pot system around $1.5k or so with the flex fuel option being extra. It will include A LOT of parts, many of them custom components, for the money. The fuel system will include a Fuel Lab FPR, Walbro 485 E85 fuel pump, PnP high current wiring relay, and PnP fuel connections with the price. All of the included fuel lines and in-tank wiring will be teflon lined and E85 compatible.

We're still undecided on how we want to implement the flex fuel connection to the ECU. There are several ways to do this, so we'll likely have several wiring options available.

Sign me up. I already have a FlexFuel setup so I'd just need the base system.

Yes, it's based off of the same design that allowed our Time Attack tC to run below the empty mark on track with r-comp tires, whereas the stock set-up had fuel starvation issues below half tank.

A surge tank and swirl pot are the same thing. However, a vertically mounted round swirl pot has side feeds for the FPR return and main tank fuel feed. This arrangement promotes a swirling action in the swirl pot/ surge tank that helps to deaerate the fuel coming back from the FPR. In addition it promotes the flow of the generally hotter FPR fuel back to the main tank and the cooler main tank fuel to feed the Walbro 485 pump housed inside of the surge tank. Hopefully this makes sense.

Toan, have you experienced the same issue with the FRS below half a tank? Just wondering if it's an area of concern, primarily the lean condition, for those who daily drive or mainly a track application.

I understand that but my question isn't really if it'll happen but in what conditions (track, dd, etc) is it most likely to occur.

Have you ever seen an MV Agusta motorcycle disassembled? The mechanic gets to see beautiful works of art as he takes it apart. This photo reminded me of how PTuning is also proud of their work and takes their time to make parts look as good as they work.

Another dyno sheet. '13 FR-S owned by one of our sales staff.

Still zeroing in on the perfect tune for the midrange. We now have over 200WTQ from about 3,200 rpms to 8,000 rpms. Not too shabby.

93 pump gas at 11 psi.

Now that we have a second shop car running just our base turbo set-up, this shouldn't be a problem. I'll check my dyno schedule for next week and see if I can squeeze in a 91 octane dyno tuning session.
