They are R33 replicas that I found off YAJ. I believe they are M2 Hanbai brand. Took about 8 weeks to get here on a boat from Osaka.

R33 wheels are my all time favorite wheel but at the same time, I didnt want to possibly have to cut my stock studs to fit them with a tiny conversion spacer. These were much less aggressive at 17x8 +40 so I was able to run a larger conversion spacer deeming it unnecessary to cut my stock studs. Plus I wanted to run no larger than an 8" wide wheel due to steering clearance.

Ill definitely be taking an air hammer to my front wheel wells once I get a steering angle kit since I already rub on everything inboard.

Nice car man. Never knew your wheels were 17x8 replicas. Im on the lookout for a set of r33 wheels myself.

Keep up the great work!

What size conversion spacers are you using if you dont mind me asking? And what size tires are your running?

No problem Slava! So happy that someone with good style has one of these things!

30mm conversion spacer so effectively 17x8 +10, and I run stock size 215/45. Instead of rolling that small rear lip, I ended up just cutting it off, and front fenders and corner markers have "taken shape" from the excessive rubbing up front while drifting.

My buddy just got real R33 wheels and I believe he cut the stock studs and is running a 10mm conversion spacer with 215/45. He still needs to get the height all set and I'll get some pics of that up once that gets taken care of but from what I've seen, they fit no problem as long as you dont mind cutting the stock studs

If I cant find anymore of these reps for sale on YAJ for drift spares in the near future, I may have to start collecting some real R33's and bite the bullet and cut my stock studs too!

Awesome. Answered a lot of my questions.

Ill have a similar setup if I go with 15mm spacers, which is probably safer anyways. I ended up going with a different wheel setup. Keep an eye out haha

Oh, another question. Is it true that non sticky tires are the way to go on these front and back? For drifting of course.

Picked up a Tomei 2-Way LSD to replace the OEM Torsen LSD. Cant wait to use this thing out at Automass this upcoming weekend. Forgot to take pics during the install. Overall opinion? Very Aggressive, and I can finally drift this car how Im used to drifting!

Definitely in back at least due to our low power. Seems to be all preference if people want to run the same tire all around or a stickier front. In the past I've always ran stickier fronts, but Im trying to keep it more balanced with the same tire all around now which I am still unsure of which I like better.

It feels like I can play with the wheel a bit more now and almost 4 wheel slide compared to when I had a stickier front on my last cars, it felt more like i was pivoting around if that makes any sense.

Right now Im using Nexen N3000 all around in stock tire size and I love it, grip isnt great at all but the tires last forever!

I run 215 s drives in front and whatever junky rears I get my hands on, and it feels awesome... It'll work either but I generally prefer nice fronts because it makes the car more predictable when messing around on the street.
