Doesn't the BRZ come with a trunk lid interior liner?

Have you actually taken it apart? It's a piece of plastic with fur covering it. Looks pretty but doesn't do jack for sound.

Sound insulation that I speak of is actual deadening material that is glued to panels.

The only issue I have is that with some music the bass will start to resonate with my exhaust and the whole song become nothing more then a booming form of white noise (Sabbath and GNR are both really bad for it at any volume). In those cases a quick switch from "Feel" to "Voice on the head unit usually fixes it.

(oh and "Rock out" to ELO? Teehee)

Plug up that sound tube on passenger side. It's pretty quiet.

I have some photos of it on my Builder's thread here. @mav1178 is right, I doubt it does much for sound deadening. It's literally thinner than your car key.

I had keyless for many years and now that I am back to one I just jump in and try to push a nonexistent button at least once a day!

Road noise is a big problem for me in this car and the main reason I'll be getting rid of it when the lease is up. Adding performance-oriented tires makes it worse too.
