Awesome. We should plan a group track day soon. They have an open day tomorrow, but I can't make it.

Highplains is pretty much open all year. So plenty of good days to still go. Plus they are now in winter pricing so cheaper as well. Only around an hour away is a plus As well.

They are almost out of gas though, so keep that in mind, you will need to bring in your own gas.

I'm actually planning a track day / car show for the Spring @ High Plains. Still a ways out but I'm glad you brought this up!

Hopefully they get a bigger lot than last year. It seemed like half of the cars were stuck in the parking garage.

i recommended twin peaks mall here in longmont. but i dont know when the mall is going to go into construction. it is very desolate with only a movie theater, dillards, game stop, and a victoria secrets as their mainly active stores with a small handful of small shops that occupy one side of the mall.

If the construction does not begin by then, i think it would be a great place to hold the show. plus spill over can take up the abbandoned walmarts parking that is only seperated by a ditch.

longmont has a rich car culture. we have the annual ColoRodans car show. And this year we were the openning host city for the fireball run, similar to the gumball. Got to meet valentino balboni at it

I am in longmont.
GBS-BRZ a block over from another White.

I do HPR a few times a year for RMVR.
Almost begged someone to drive my BRZ during track helper rides last year...
Will have my OTHER 2.0L boxer engine out there next season...

Right now, only 2 people that i know of tuning (boostcreep, revolutions). I have worked with boostcreep and have been less than happy....its now been about 6months since i first went to get a tune, and have yet to have a good working tune.

The other shop (revolutions) wont work on this platform in FI form. So im out of luck. I believe he is waiting until he gets it all worked out on his car before workgin on others.

So my advice, go with a remote tune, or head out of state. At this point, I am accepting the loss of time and lots of money, and moving on to a remote tuner, or possibly ship my car to a tuner out of state. Still working out the details.

And to directly answer you @slava, local shop (boostcreep), mediocre experience, more than double a remote tune, results are hard to say, as its puts down good numbers, but runs poorly, so i guess poor results?

I have a tactrix cable to use ecuflash and a tune from Openflash but I am waiting until they have an official release. I dont want to try until they have something past the beta stage.
