Staying on Topic

I was inspired by all the comments throughout this board of people straying off topic and others trying to keep them on topic and thought... Why not make a topic about staying on topic and the topic to stay on is veering off topic. In short, the only way to stay on topic is to post something off topic.
Unless of course the topic has veered far enough off topic, then being on topic would again be off topic.

It's not unrelated topic, just off topic. Each post should feed off the prior, but take the thread in a new direction. An exploration of transitions at the intersection of wit and sanity.

i worked with a guy once that liked using twisted logic like this on everyone in an attempt to assert his superiority. it was fun to pick apart some of his logic from time to time, and then he would insist on changing all the rules because "you're ruining the joke".

so for this thread, the topic is about staying on topic, to which you're insisting is off topic, but offer very little suggestion to what the real topic is here. and so if all subjects are on topic, than there is no rules for what is off topic, which means that this is nothing more than a twisted jumble of words specifically organized to wow those with less brain cells.

if i have 2 crayons and i eat 3 crayons, where did the one crayon come from?

If you want a $500 can opener, get the valve spring recall done.

Hey guys, first car here and I love it, but I want more power. I bought some XXR 530D wheels in 19x11, what tires are best for my setup? I don't want to spend more than $500

You don’t “want” more power it “needs” more power. Search noob

This thread seems to have a topic. Which is off-topic. Let's lock this one down and call it a day.
