Not sure anyone really pays attention. Personally the sub forums shouldn’t be broken down by manufacturer anyways.

Hi everyone,

Fairly new member here so wanted to say hi. I don't have an 86 yet but am looking around. Really interested in people's experience supercharging them. I'll be looking around but pls drop me some pointers if you have them. I'm liking the Edlebrock kit so far.

Thanks,
sensei

Hello,

New member from the Ottawa, Ontario area. Had a 2013 FRS given to me by a friend. Mint shape, only catch is the engine is blown. Long story short, mechanic blew a rod while getting some service done.

Hoping to get my hand dirty and start by ripping apart the engine and seeing if it's salvageable, and just for the experience. It's already out of the car, just gotta get and engine stand and a garage heater haha. Never attempted anything remotely close to this, so any words of advice would be appreciated!

Hi all

New to the forums, purchased my 2019 86 TRD SE in December of 2018. I'm from Long Island, NY. Just ordered black Valenti tail lights and smoked side markers as my first mods to my 86. Can't wait for the warmer weather to drop it and get some new wheels.

Thanks!

Hello everyone,

My name is Seth I have a 2016 FRS. I have owned it for about a year now, current set up is relatively standard. But I am looking to expand in terms of modification to the car and my knowledge of the platform. I have lurked the site more than I care to admit, so I finally decided to join! (I am beyond glad to see an active forum that isn't based off of Facebook)

Hi everyone!
Bought recently a 2016 FRS.
I've been reading the forum for a while now and it helped me deciding towards the FRS, so thanks for that! I've had a couple of BMWs before the FRS and was really undecided which car to get next.

Hi, first time posting on forums, i was considering buying a BRZ and supercharging it with an edelbrock kit, but was wondering if anyone knew of any shops that would install it for me in the victoria/vancouver bc area, thanks

Hello everyone,

I'm a long time owner of the FR-S/GT86, I'm what many of you refer to as a FR-S purist. I was in the Airforce long ago and when I got out my wife let me get my first "sports car". After tracking the development of the chassis I knew when it came out that it was the car I wanted. When we arrived at St. Louis late 2012. I found a Hot Lava 6 speed Scion FR-S at the dealer. They were quite a rare site at that time.

It was love at first sight, I bought it right then and there, they had to even go to the trouble of pulling it out of the showroom floor. Most did not know how to drive stick so they had to find a older gentleman to drive it out. Around 3 years later I had a daughter and the wife got me to trade it for a used BMW 328i xdrive "more family friendly". She ended up getting a raise shortly the next year so for a second time I bought a Scion FR-S, this time a used 38k 2014 version. Got it for 16k and was agian a Hot Lava, 6 speed. I still drive the snot out of it today... Next week I'm taking it to BingeTokyo Circuit Days for a 3.15 Grand Full Course.

So you could say I'm the guy that liked it so much I bought it twice...
