I would guess that also, however CF hoods are extremely light and the pins would be there for safety reasons. Seen a couple of vids of hoods flying up into windshield at high speed. Obviously would benefit more for racetrack guys.

Last two sets of vents are too far to the rear. They sit way too close to the high pressure zone. If you keep just the front two sets I think it will look better and be more functional.
