Fall Updates

09/21/2018:
Hey all! Updated the previous posts with pictures form the brake upgrade, and the newly installed trd wing and sti garnishes.

I did a small write-up on the sti garnish, and will be posting it up in the how-to section in the next few days once I get them back on the car and a few pictures taken.

For now, here's a few bonus shots to make this post interesting:

Thanks man! I think so too. I'm not in a hurry to drastically change everything. It's been fun enjoying the car as is.

Do you plan to stay NA? The car can be a lot of fun without boost.

At first I was deadset on an HKS Supercharger kit, but after reading the thread here about the issues the kit had, I kind of squashed that dream.

I've decided to keep the car NA! Will be going either JDL or ACE header/exhaust pipes down the line with a flex fuel tune, as well as the rest of the supporting bolt on mods. Power mods are last on my list though.

Thanks I appreciate it! I've kept poor records of car builds in the past so I'm trying to keep it up with this one (Even if I post stuff late, haha)

Very nice. I may be biased, but in my opinion a lightweight flywheel makes the car much more enjoyable, as far as NA things go.

I agree 100%! I look forward to going with a stiffer clutch and lighter flywheel.

I had one on my 240sx back in the day and it made it much more rev happy.

I like how you just disconnected the shift linkage instead of removing it on your clutch job. When I was looking at the how-to's it seemed unnecessary that people were ripping out the center console.

Thanks! yeah I'm not the first to do it, but there are plenty of tricks and shortcuts to getting that transmission out. The only time you need to be in the cabin is to pull the hood latch lever lol.
