No More Mud Slinging

On a vehicle I previously owned, I learned the value of mud guards...the hard way. I've just completed my order and thought I'd share what I found via AMAZON.COM.

"2013 Scion FRS Oem Mud Guards"
$54.00
In Stock
Sold by: [ame="http://www.amazon.com/gp/help/seller/home.html/ref=ox_oce_seller_home?ie=UTF8&seller=A1OLI34MGTEI YI"]MagAuto[/ame]

I called to confirm / clarify if "1" means a set of four or if the price is for a pair. According to the parts rep, this for a full set.

FYI the shipping costs were under $10. When I called the dealership I purchased the car from, they quoted a price of $69+ tax...FAIL!

Happy shopping!

So, who failed ? amazon or dealer ? In my opinion the dealership clearly wins this one. Why take a chance on wrong item shipped to you, ofcourse you realize how much cost and headache it would be to return for correct item, for a varience of $5 bucks?
Plus, you are supporting building a relationship with your dealer. If you do not support your dealer and they go away,(ya, extreme case) how far will you have to go for somebody to fix issue? The best thing you can do is work that dealership, and when you need something, they may say no problem I will get to it right now Mr Wolfking! If you are joe smuck, your back of the line for sure.

I have a BRZ "Limited" and I just grabbed a full set from my local Toyota dealer.

You do order them in pairs from the dealer; 2 Front, 2 Rear

I would just get it from your local dealer for those extra bucks to save yourself the worry/hassle of the wrong parts, IMHO any transaction through the web is 'hit or miss' when you finally receive the item. But in the end, the choice is yours.

Mine came with mud guards already on it. They will be removed though once that Stillen body kit comes out.

C'mon you are killin' me! I bought a whole !@#$%^& car from them...with a check! I'd say that's support enough! (I've 3 other dealerships nearby to go to)
I'm damned near on a first name basis with Amazon, this however is not the point. I was simply sharing an option for anyone to get parts they want at a fair price. How you spend your money is your choice. Do you always bite the hand that feeds you?

Side note...dealerships would rather you loaned the full amount from them.
