From everything I have read/heard, he had a few defective parts on his Flex-Fuel Set-up he was selling (not his fault). Caused Fuel to leak and a car to catch fire. He fixed the issue as soon as it was discovered, but having your part play a roll in a car catching fire can be hard to come back from.

I don't really want to derail the thread, but if you do some googling of his name and flexfuel you'll find a few things. I don't really want to bring up past events since I wasn't directly involved in any of it, just a few things I saw and read. Sorry that I'm being blunt, but I'm not the type of person to bash others. (not bashing you DustinS for explaining the story) would not have replied if I saw your response... lol)

piper had an issue with the cam sprockets, that's why the power came on so late. the vvt was basically non-functioning. they figured out the issue and sent us the fix, just need to get it back on the dyno and get john back down here to finish it up. Nguyen drives the car a good bit. he also helped me put together my old sleeved block before i went 2J. that 6466 came off of my car before i went to the 6766 lol

not sure why u quoted me.

I was simply stating that even though he had some issues in the past, you cant hide the fact that he is a great tuner to get those kind of numbers

The plan is to hit the drag strip and a half mile shootout this year. He really likes to drive and push the car pretty hard, so it's not just a pretty show car. This should be a fun year for him and the car now that it's pretty much done.

You are correct. I apologize. Not sure how I came up with that, given that Nyugen really helped me a lot with my engine build with clearance etc. he is a awesome guy. Shoot man, he helped me so much I sent him a bottle of our local aged Rum lol.

Thanks for correction again
