No one's angry, but you did ask our advice so now you got it. What you do with it is up to you.

Would anyone trade their BRZ (86) for a new Nissan 370Z?

The 370Z will almost certainly be discontinued, given the financial problems Nissan is having. Similar in size to the BRZ, similar analog feel, but much more hp and torque.

huh, you do realize we ain't on rennlist? we're all driving the same cheap ass sports car, what financial differences do you think there are? lol

you don't care about money, sure, I'm in the same boat too and I personally don't really care about getting rich one day but all these dudes are just telling you that your money is better spent elsewhere, I don't see any anger here except everyone SMHing at you! you asked the questions bruh, and the fact that you needed some advice on how to spend your money means you somewhat care about your finances..

..and much more fat.. Zs are nice if you care about having some power but beyond that 86 excels in most other driving dynamics and it has more interior/cargo space to top it off.

I’m not sure it is so much a matter of financial priorities as such. The whole point of this car was to be a cheap, fun, good handling car. I think what a lot of people are getting at is that this car makes the most sense when approached from a budget mindset. If not, then you might as well be getting a Cayman or an M-something.

It’s the same idea as someone who chooses to own an MGA instead of an AH3000.

If you're going to "upgrade" to another BRZ, why not do the 2020 tS at least?

Curious question: did you lease or finance or buy outright your current BRZ?

Nobody is angry about anything. Financial "needs" do not come into play. Trading a two year old car and thinking you are breaking even is just poor financial comprehension. You say you have your own business but it won't last long with that way of thinking.

We don't care what car you buy so if you want to change go drive them and see what you like best. Asking here is just going to get many conflicting responses and since they are not what you want to hear then why keep coming back?

You asked us for opinions, get pissy when we give them and say it is the forum that has gone to shit. Maybe you are the one that has changed...

if you can't tell the difference in handling between front wheel drive and rear wheel drive, rwd is more complicated and maintenance intensive with no benefit in your given case. the whole reason to own a rwd vehicle is for either towing or specific sports car handling, which, as you indicated, you can't feel, which negates any benefit to that handling characteristic.

resale because it's a camry is also insane, and directly competes with the toyota tacoma and jeep wranger for top resale position. nothing in your poll has a comparable resale benefit.

No he wasn't. Not on here at any rate. He used to ask well considered and thought out questions and discuss responses in a rational manner.
Now it is all just "me me me". Regressive millennialisim?
Why do people think we will shop for new cars for them?
