oft question

Anyone out there skilled with oft's wanna help me out. I recently acquired an oft v1, the thing hooks up to my car no problem and can read/write. When i plug it into my pc to upload and download tunes with open flash manager, it just repeats the message connecting to device.... over and over. The screen on the device just displays a picture of a little oft on it and doesn't change.

I have tried on two different computers and it is the same result. Thanks for any help i get

How long do you wait?

In my experience, sometimes it can take almost 10 minutes to connect, then run all of the updates.

Running 1.36.0 for open flash manager which should be the most recent version. I was thinking maybe it has to do with me using a USB 3 slot on my computer instead of a 2, currently testing that theory.

*not the issue*

I believe I had the same problem a month ago when connecting my OFT for the first time in a year or two however it resolved itself after a couple tries I think.

Does your OFT come on when connected to the computer and display some numbers and a background with a FR-S?
