What are your thoughts on Bridgemoto? For some reason their harnesses look like ones from aliexpress.. I'm in the market for racing gear and their prices look enticing. Cheers brotha.

Their stuff is legit. They offer SFI and FIA rated harnesses along with lots of other safety gear that's commonly used by serious racers. I wouldn't hesitate to check them out.

Got a pair of new Braum Falcon-X FIA seats on the way

Quote:
The FALCON X fixed back seat offers BRAUM Racing’s typical combination of style, support, and comfort, but with the added benefit of being FIA Approved. The seat’s long shoulder bolsters are designed to accommodate drivers of all sizes; along with gentle thigh bolsters, they provide the perfect balance between the support you demand at the track and the comfort you need on the street. With its fixed back bucket seat design, any corner on the track will be handled with absolute precision and accuracy, while the injection molded foam, with its goldilocks-firm cushioning, provides the comfort you need for your long commute.

FIA Homologation: 8855-1999
Anti-Submarine Belt Slot
Strong, lightweight steel tubular frame
Fixed Back Bucket
Injection molded foam
Black polo cloth and red mesh cover with faux carbon fiber fabric backing
Anti-slip shoulder patches
Bottom mount compatibility (will need vehicle-specific seat bracket)

Huh...interesting. I've never seen a seat quite like that. Steel tubular frame, but fixed back and FIA approved. It's always tough to tell just from looking at a seat, but at first blush is seems to have the right ingredients for a budget dual-purpose seat.

@Roadcone is correct. I'm running the Verus Engineering brake cooling kit, which uses a duct/hose behind the factory fog light bezel. It's very stealthy in photos.

Not immediately, but I plan to add something in the not too distant future.

Fair enough, I forgot you were running those. Just tossing out ideas here! I envy your build and just thought those would look cool. I assume you aren't having any overheating issues?

None at all! I've been super pleased with the efficiency of all the new heat exchangers (the radiator and oil cooler, at least). Already had an opportunity to torture test them in heavy traffic and high ambient temperatures and they performed very well!

The intercooler has yet to be torture tested and likely wont be until spring, but based on the IAT data @CSG Mike has graciously shared with me from his recent very successful track battles, the new intercooler is very much up to the task!

This was in 56F ambient temperature with his Greddy turbo kit and the same JDL track-spec intercooler.

Braum Falcon-X FIA seats installed!

They feel much more sturdy (obviously) and hold me in tight. They're comfortable enough for what they are so I'm happy!
