Can anyone speak to how difficult it is to install these? These look interesting to me...but I'm sort of afraid they'd be a pain in the ass to install, since I'm not very good at DIY stuff.

Anyone have a translation on the SARD seat cover install manual? I tried Google Translate on my phone with limited success. I could wing it, but would like to have some type of instruction so I don't mess up the $400 seat covers.

You might check the Clazzio seat cover videos on Youtube. They look very similar to the Sard covers.

I installed the SARD front seat covers today. Thanks to CrazyWookie for the tips. It took a bit longer than expected, but overall an easy install. I didn't follow step 1 of the manual to remove the flap straps from under the seat for the OEM cover. I wrapped the back flap behind the pouch area to hide it. The cushion cover rear strap was fed through the sides and the front straps under the seat and then tightened up. The covers are very comfortable. Next week I'll attempt the back seats.

Sorry to necro this thread, but did you have to remove the seats to install? How long did the whole process take to put the covers on?

You don't have to remove the seats though it does make it easier for sure. If you have the factory leather seats you will have to cut the flaps for the top part of the seats to accommodate the heated seat wire.

Installing these I never swore so much in all my life and sweated like crazy (swear some of the sweat was tears!).

Only real drama I have with the covers is they change my driving position slightly due to the extra bulk and make it a little less comfortable as a result (I'm 6'6" so there is not much margin for error) but needed them on as I don't want to scuff the bolsters up prematurely

Took me about an hour for the fronts. Would be faster second time around. I haven't attempted rear seats yet. Not as much swearing as LazyZed.

For those that have installed these, where are those small metal hooks used? The gf bought me these as a Christmas present, but my Japanese isn't very good!

They are used to hold the base of the seat covers for the front in place. The elastic does go around the metal bits under the seat like stock, these just hold it nice and tight. Think they also are used for the rear bucket seats also? All I remember is a lot of sweating and cursing fitting them

I love mine so far. Outstanding quality and fitment. The padding on the seatbacks actually make the seats a tad more comfortable because I dont sink down so far into the seat and the shoulder pads dont make me feel cramped anymore.

Since I have taken these pictures I fixed the crimps on the passenger side seat. My hands got pretty cut up and I was really tired when I installed these and I may have gotten in a little hurry to finish the passenger side seat.
